I realized last night that I never have finished the Lifeline DLC for State of Decay. Not in the initial release, and not in the Year One Survival Edition. As a result of this realization, and in hopes of staving off my hysteria while waiting for State of Decay 2 to launch (Come ON, May 18!), I decided to start a new YOSE Lifeline playthrough and see if I can’t actually complete it for once. I have also decided to stream my gameplay on my Mixer channel so that you can have fun mocking my driving skill, my shooting skill, or any other skills I’m not great at.
Depending on the time of day (or night), I may or may not have my mic on for commenting and/or answering questions (have to let Mommitude get her sleep even if I’m up all night), but I will try to keep up with the chat when I don’t.
Update (9am): I streamed for about two hours this morning, but Mixer didn’t generate the VOD as it should have. As a result, when I start streaming again today at Noon, I will be restarting again so that I can have a complete record of my adventure.
Update (2pm): I streamed for just over an hour and a half, claiming all Satellite, Drone, and Artillery outposts and getting Dr. Horn to base. Thought that was a good stopping place for now. You can watch the VOD on Mixer until 4/27.
